Online NATO Architecture Framework (NAF) Training in Italy

Objective: This course is designed to assist participants in applying the principles of the UAF and NAF enterprise architecture frameworks in practical scenarios.

Grasping the concepts of UAF 1.1 within the context of the NATO NAF v4 Architecture Framework is highly advantageous. The Domain Meta-model (DMM) of UAF delineates various stakeholder concerns related to a system, such as security, information, and measurements, through a set of predefined viewpoints. These are then mapped to the corresponding views in NAFv4.

Conversely, the Architecture Stages of the NATO NAFv4 Methodology facilitate an understanding of how to effectively utilize UAF views to ensure coherence and completeness. This approach enables traceability from high-level strategic goals down to the specific personal and physical resources required for their implementation.

Throughout the course, concepts and techniques are progressively applied by attendees through an end-to-end case study and various associated exercises.
