Online Ubuntu Training in Italy

As IT environments increasingly prioritize flexibility and cost efficiency, adopting open-source infrastructure has evolved from a viable alternative to a strategic imperative. While your team may currently excel in Windows environments, a lack of proficient Linux skills can impede the deployment of modern, scalable web applications and storage solutions.

Our Solution: This comprehensive 5-Day Accelerated Program is engineered to close this skill gap. Rather than merely instructing on commands, we empower Windows-centric administrators to become confident Linux System Engineers. By the conclusion of this course, your team will be equipped to deploy secure web servers, manage networked storage, and—critically—implement centralized identity management leveraging Active Directory protocols within a Linux context.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be capable of:

• Deploy & Secure: Installing Ubuntu Server from the ground up and hardening it using industry-standard SSH practices.
• Manage Identity: (New) Configuring and administering Active Directory services via Samba to centralize user accounts and authentication (LDAP).
• Automate: Developing Bash scripts to streamline repetitive maintenance tasks.
• Host: Deploying and maintaining production-grade web servers (Apache/Nginx).

This instructor-led live training in Italy (online or onsite) targets system administrators aiming to use Ubuntu to set up and manage network devices, virtual machines, and containers in a secure, customizable, and user-friendly environment.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Set up the necessary environment to manage network devices, virtual machines, and cloud images with Ubuntu.
• Understand the features and advantages of Ubuntu and the different variants.
• Configure network devices and security using bash and sudo shell commands.
• Use the technologies (such as OpenStack) and tools available in Ubuntu to manage virtualization and cloud containers.
• Learn how to set up and configure mail servers (Dovecot, Exim4, and Postfix) and web servers (Apache) in Ubuntu.
