Presentation Skills
- Delivery of a pre-prepared presentation on a subject of the delegate's choice, relevant to their professional role.
Note: The duration of each delegate presentation depends on the overall course length and the number of participants. A group of eight is considered ideal.

Preparing a Presentation
- Key questions the presenter should address in advance:
- Why am I the right person for this?
- Logistics: what, where, when, how – and how long?
- Understanding how the answers to these questions influence the presentation structure
- Structuring the content:
- Research – gaining deep knowledge of the subject
- Organizing the content logically
- Creating and using complementary visual aids
Preparing the Presenter
- Three fundamental communication tools for a presenter:
- Verbal – the choice of words, avoiding slang and unnecessary jargon
- Vocal – the tone and sound of the voice, minimizing distracting verbal habits or unnatural punctuations
- Visual – the presenter's appearance: attire, body language, and overall presence
- Rehearsing the presentation and obtaining honest feedback from a trusted source
- Strategies for managing nerves
Preparing the Environment
- Room layouts – and how they convey underlying messages to attendees
- Leveraging the physical space to enhance the presentation experience
Presentation Skills – Revisited
- Delivery of another presentation (following a period of appropriate preparation).
Note: This may be the same presentation as in Module 1, refined based on detailed feedback.
