Day 1

Settling Down and Preparation Formalities

Preparation of materials, participant orientation, and refreshments

Module 1: My Confidence, My Stage

Understanding the importance of self-confidence in the success of public speaking delivery and personal expression

Activity 1: I am Me

Participants will take the front of the house to deliver information about themselves, helping to build confidence and self-esteem.

Module 2: The Power of Influence and Persuasion – How Will I Make People Listen?

Discussion on the importance of implying and delivering ideas that aim to influence, inspire, and capture attention.

Activity 2: The Blind Guide

Three participants from each group will attempt to build a tower using Lego/Building Blocks with alternating colors. Two of them will be blindfolded, while one serves as the captain without a blindfold. The captain leads the two blindfolded members using their voice as the source of instructions. One blindfolded participant builds, while the other relays the instructions.

Synthesis Session

Summary and discussion on the importance of the previous session

Module 3: Public Speaking and Its Structure

Discussion on the structure of public speaking, preparation techniques, and key considerations for delivery.

Activity 3: My Crazy Story

Participant groups will create a story from a single source topic.

Module 4: Construction and Delivery of the Speech

The session focuses on ways to construct the core thoughts of a speech, identifying effective delivery strategies, and personal preparations for presentation.

Final Synthesis and Assignment Delivery

Participants will be assigned one of the following topics for a discussion lasting 5 to 10 minutes maximum.

Day 2

Activity 1: Delivery of Identified Topics through Public Presentation

Module 5: Merging Public Speaking and the Internet Superhighway
