Agile Project Management with Kanban Training Course

Join this instructor-led live training in Italy to gain proficiency in Agile project management through the use of Kanban and Jira. Participants will learn to implement Kanban workflows, customize Jira for their organization, perform advanced searches, and generate reports to enhance team productivity.

This instructor-led, live training (online or onsite) is aimed at both beginner-level and advanced-level participants. The knowledge and tools provided can be applied in your daily work to optimize workflow efficiency.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Increase the number of work items completed per unit of time.
• Reduce the time required to complete work items.
• Improve work predictability (providing better answers to "When will it be done?").
• Manage flow metrics (throughput, lead time, work in progress, work item age).
• Use flow charts (Cumulative Flow Diagram, Lead Time Histogram, Work Aging Chart).
• Utilize statistical forecasting methods, such as Monte Carlo simulations and Service Level Agreement.
• Design a Kanban System in a methodological way (STATIK).
• Understand Little's Law, which describes the nature of value flow.

This two-day program is crafted to assist teams belonging to an Agile Release Train (ART) in operating efficiently within an Agile setting by utilizing frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Attendees will gain insights into functioning as an Agile Team, managing backlogs, and successfully planning and conducting iterations. The curriculum also highlights the importance of understanding the team’s position within the ART and fostering collaboration, planning, execution, and continuous improvement alongside peer teams.

The training readies teams to engage in a Program Increment (PI), addressing both Team-level and Program-level activities, with a specific emphasis on upcoming PI planning sessions. Upon completing the course, participants will be prepared to take the certification exam to achieve the SAFe® Practitioner (SP) credential.
