SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager with POPM Certification Training Course
Develop the skills needed to lead value delivery in a Lean enterprise—and learn the actions, tools, and mechanisms used to manage backlogs and programs—by becoming a SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). During this two-day course, participants gain in-depth knowledge of the Agile Release Train (ART), how it delivers value, and how to effectively perform their role.
Participants also learn how to apply Lean thinking to create Epics, break them down into Features and Stories, plan and manage Iterations, and plan Program Increments. At the end, participants explore the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps culture, learn how to integrate effectively in Product Owner and Product Manager roles, and understand what is required for continuous ART improvement.
To fulfill the role of SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager, participants should be able to:
- Apply SAFe in a Lean enterprise
- Connect SAFe Lean-Agile principles and values to PO/PM roles
- Collaborate with Lean Portfolio Management
- Discover continuous value through Program Increment planning
- Execute the Program Increment and deliver continuous value
- Describe the roles of Product Owner and Product Manager
- Create an action plan for their role

Requirements
Everyone is welcome on the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are strongly recommended for those intending to take the SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification exam:
- Participation in the Leading SAFe® course
- Experience working in a SAFe environment
- Experience with Lean, Agile, or other relevant certifications

Practitioner in Agile Quality (PAQ) certification
21 HoursThe PAQ certification course is a three-day, experiential training program designed to prepare candidates for the exam while honing practical skills that can be directly applied in the workplace.
The examination format is a 'hands-on' assessment where candidates are provided with a product backlog release. This includes user stories, related design documentation, and a 'multi-drop' application containing seeded defects. Candidates receive detailed instructions on the expectations for the practical assessment and have the opportunity to create the necessary work products. Each assessment also includes 1 or 2 additional scenario-based questions that require written responses, totaling up to 5 questions. These written answers are evaluated by an independent assessor alongside the responses to the product backlog release. The assessment duration is 2.5 hours.
