Requirements
This is a practitioner-level course. Candidates are required to meet one of the following agile knowledge prerequisites: iSQI® Certified Agile Essentials (CAE), iSQI® Certified Scrum Master Pro, ISTQB® Foundation Level Agile Tester, or possess 2 years of professional experience working in Agile environments. Due to the practical, experiential learning approach of this course, certain assumed knowledge is expected. If this knowledge is not present, it may be difficult for candidates to complete the course and assessments within the time constraints. Candidates are expected to already be able to apply basic practices and techniques, such as:
- Knowledge of Test Design techniques – Equivalent Partitioning (EP) / Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) / State Transition / Decision tables / Exploratory testing
- Basic test terminology
- Understanding the difference between functional and non-functional testing, including the basic concepts of Performance and Usability testing
- Performing all activities associated with the fundamental test process
